Headliner: Peter Cincotti

Peter Cincotti’s latest project is 88 Keys And Me. The album and the concert program honor some of the most influential piano men and women of all time, featuring songs by artists ranging from Scott Joplin to Lady Gaga. It also includes autobiographical originals which tell tales of life on the road, growing up in New York City, and losing his father at his first professional gig when he was 13 years old.

Whether he is blending the stylings of Errol Garner with Billy Joel, Bruce Hornsby with John Lennon, or Bill Evans with Coldplay, Peter’s daring arrangements become a kind of crazy glue between generations of pianists, revealing the hidden harmonies inside the songs we thought we knew.

“As different as all of my albums are,” Peter reflects, “the main through line between them all is the piano. I wanted to make a record that honors that idea, and the wide range of pianists who have influenced me.”

A born and bred New Yorker, Cincotti’s debut album reached #1 on the Billboard jazz charts, making 18-year old Cincotti the youngest artist ever to do so.

Peter’s albums have been produced by legends such as Phil Ramone and 16 time Grammy winner David Foster, blending genres from pop to jazz, yielding hit original songs such as “Goodbye Philadelphia” and leading him to perform in some of the world’s most prestigious venues from Carnegie Hall to L’Olympia in Paris.

Peter has collaborated with artists ranging from Andrea Bocelli to David Guetta, has been featured in blockbuster films such as Spiderman 2, represented the global fashion brands Ermenegildo Zegna and Tod’s, and has also appeared as himself in Season 3 of the hit Netflix series House Of Cards.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Peter wrote and produced a song for New York called ‘Heart Of The City, which he called a ‘remembrance of things past and a dream of better days.’ The song and video exceeded over a million impressions on social media and caught the attention of many notable New York institutions was featured in Katie Couric’s ‘Get Inspired’ newsletter, Good Day New York, and other media outlets, spreading a sense of togetherness and much needed positivity.

With each new release, and especially his upcoming album ’88 Keys And Me’, Peter continues to morphs genres and blended influences in a variety of ways, while bringing active, rhythmic piano playing back into the landscape of modern music.

From the Tres Amigos: All profits from the current concerts go to finish the endowment of our third scholarship. Our experience is, once performers come and understand our unique relationship with the school, over the last 20 years, many return to support the cause. We seat a maximum of 180 people in our venue before bring down the wrath of our local fire marshal.

This is truly a unique group of “producers”, we look for talent - not profit. The three partners take all the risk on these productions, and they do not receive one penny from the concert receipts. If there is a loss, they take the hit, if there is a profit, 100% of the profits after costs go into the scholarship fund. They donate their time, talent, gifts and professional services to insure the success of these concerts.

We know of no other program similar anywhere in the United states, or on the globe.
